The ultimate guide to Beatles tourism in Liverpool - now updated

Excellent and very detailed tourist guide to all the Beatles-related sites in Liverpool and surrounding suburbs. I picked up this updated edition while in Liverpool seeing many of these places on an all-day Beatles taxi tour. The book included all the places on my tour as well as many that weren't on the tour and also mentioned a number of places that no longer existed due to being closed, demolished, etc. There are so many places in this book it would probably take you a few days to see them all, but even if you just have limited time to see a few places, or are far from Liverpool being an "armchair tourist," the book is interesting reading nonetheless. It explains the Beatles connection to each place very well. The level of detail could overwhelm a casual fan, but if you're very into the Beatles or you like rock n' roll sightseeing tours or rock history, you'll probably appreciate the effort that clearly went into putting this guidebook together.
